Chinese Gender Chart, incorrect prediction?

Have you tried using a Chinese Gender Predictor to determine if you are having a boy or girl? If so, was it right or was your Chinese gender prediction wrong?

Did you know, there might still be a possibility that the Chinese Gender Chart is actually correct, even if on first glance it seems wrong!

If you have already tried the Chinese Gender Chart for a gender prediction, did you follow all the steps required? The key to unlocking an accurate prediction is that the CGC requires your Chinese Lunar Age and your Chinese Lunar Month of conception. The latter is where possible anomalies can occur.

Lets explain the Chinese Lunar Age further

Take the following example: A 24 years old, born in April is unsure whether she conceived on August 16th or 17th 2012.

Her Chinese Lunar age at the time of conception is 25. Read here if you would like to work out your Chinese Lunar Age

If it was August 16th 2012 she conceived, her Chinese Lunar month of conception would be JuneTo find out why read here

Aged 25 and conception month June, the chart would reveal her to be having a BOY.

If it was August 17th 2012 she conceived, her Chinese Lunar month of conception would be JulyTo find out why read here

Aged 25 and conception month July, the chart would reveal her to be having a GIRL.

As you can see, 2 consecutive days but a different prediction depending on which day is use for the gender prediction. So, why does it make a difference to the prediction only being 2 days apart?

These 2 regular consecutive dates midway through our Western calendar actually straddle two differing months. Thus, marking the last day of June and the first of July in the Chinese Lunar calendar. These 2 differing months offer different gender predictions. If you view a conversion table such as the one on the ??? you can see where the Chinese Lunar months differ from our own.

Have you been using the correct month to predict your baby’s gender?

I wonder how many people who have used the chart finding it to be incorrect, might not have the correct Chinese lunar month? They might have their conception day out a day or two which sways the result on the chart.

This is why the Chinese Gender Predictor shouldn’t be taken too seriously. But you have to wonder if there is anything in it.
